- What's the difference between RIVER, RIVER Max, and RIVER Pro?
- Each of the RIVER Series has its advantages. RIVER is ideal for lightweight, grab-and-go power, which you can expand with the extra battery. RIVER Max includes the extra battery by default, which you can remove to go lightweight. RIVER Pro is made for those that need even more capacity for off-grid, long haul adventures.
- Can RIVER handle high-wattage appliances?
- Yes. RIVER can power devices up to 1800W with our proprietary technology, X-Boost. *X-Boost can run devices that require up to 1800W, however, it’s best to test before use. Some 600W-1800W appliances with strict voltage requirements may not function (eg. air compressors).
- Can I control RIVER remotely?
- Yes. You can control RIVER using your phone. Just link to it in the EcoFlow app to control it from afar.
- Can I use solar panels with RIVER?
- Yes. You can connect up to 2 sets of 110W solar panels to sustainably charge your RIVER in under 3 hours.
- Can RIVER be used an an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)?
- It can be an emergency power source (EPS), which will have the same result as UPS for most electronics. Here's the difference.When your RIVER is plugged into the wall, anything plugged into it gets power from the grid, not its battery. If power from the grid stops, RIVER automatically switches to its battery supply mode within 30 milliseconds. That means anything connected will not have power for 30 milliseconds, which may mean sensitive electronics like desktop computers and data servers turn off. Test your devices individually to see if they need UPS to stay powered.
- How long will the battery last unused? If I were to just store it for use in an emergency what would I need to do to maximize the life of the battery?
- The shelf life of RIVER is up to a year, but in good storage condition. In order to maximize the life span of the battery we still recommend you discharge RIVER to 30%, then charge to 85% every 3 month.
- What will be the noise level of RIVER?

1) When AC output is between 0-400W, the sound level is around 42 dB at 1 meter from RIVER, which is simialr to the sound level in the library.
2) When AC output is between 400-600W, the sound level is around 48 dB at 1 meter from RIVER, which is similar to the sound level in the office.
3) When charging RIVER through X-Stream AC input, the sound level is 45 dB at 1 meter from RIVER, which is simialr to the sound level in the office.
4) When charging RIVER under quiet mode, the sound level is 40 dB at 1 meter from RIVER, which is simialr to the sound level in the library.
- How to connect the APP with RIVER?

There are two methods to connect:
Using Wi-Fi:
- Long press the IOT Reset button on RIVER until you hear a “beep” sound.
- Find the device in the Wi-Fi setting on your phone. Click the device to connect.
- Go back to the EcoFlow App. Click the + on the top right to start connection.
- Tick the “operation confirmed” and proceed to the next step.
- Choose the Wi-Fi and enter the password to proceed.
- Wait until the connection is finished.
Using Hotspot:
- Long press the IOT Reset button on RIVER until you hear a “beep” sound.
- Find the device in the Wi-Fi setting on your phone. Click the device to connect.
- Wait until the connection is finished.
If your device successfully connect with your app, it will appear on your "Devices" list.

How to connect the APP with RIVER when off-grid?
- How to upgrade firmware?
a. Make sure the RIVER is plugged into AC power source or has at least 50% power and System Power is ON.
b. Disconnect all other input or outputs from the RIVER .
c. Make sure the 2.4 GHz WiFi router signal is strong.
d. On the System Settings page, tap "Update" button
e. Four packages will be downloaded and installed. While this happens the icons on the LCD display may flash which is normal.
f. Close and reopen EcoFlow App and verify the new Version number appears on the Device System page.
- How to turn the X-boost function on?

Click "AC" on the device page of the APP, and you could turn on the "X-Boost" function after entering the page.
*In order to save power, it is recommended to turn off the X-Boost function when you don’t need to use it.
*X-Boost technology's built-in advanced algorithms would be able to run devices with up to 1200W per draw, but it is recommended to test before use.
*X-Boost mode is NOT suitable for ALL appliances. Some 600W-1200W appliances with strict voltage requirements may not function (eg. air compressor). Please test to confirm before using the device. X-Boost mode is enabled by default. You can disable it on the APP.
- Where can I find out the firmware version?
- Find your devices on the “Devices” Page, go to the “System” button, then you will find the firmware version by clicking “Version” on the system page.
- Can I charge DELTA series power stations with RIVER series power station AC charging cables
- DO NOT use RIVER series portable power station AC charging cables on DELTA series power stations. EcoFlow takes no responsibilities for any damages caused by customers' failure to follow instructions. Doing so will void the warranty.
If an order is placed on a product that is listed as back-ordered (or is advised), our protocol is to charge the customer's credit card or PayPal account. In order to have more control over this unfortunate fulfillment delay, we must process your payment when your order is placed to prevent:
- Undesired delays in receipt of your product by you until proper information can be provided by you to us because of unintentional change of payment information.
- Intentional attempts at fraudulent receipt of products by way of purposely providing false payment information.
- Collecting and handling of your sensitive financial information through a delayed date of order fulfillment and shipment. Our strict internal controls are in place to limit impressions or realities of fraud, and we make every effort to not, at any point, be in possession of your sensitive financial information.
Therefore we do this to avoid costly and frustrating postponements, cancellations, rerouting, and in some cases unfortunate fraudulent receipt of shipments. This usually happens due to intentional or unintentionally submitted false payment information. Therefore, this back-order protocol has been put in place to limit unnecessary and excessive costs of doing business, which allows us to keep our prices lower for you, our customer. Thank you for your patience and understanding with any back-order you may place with us.
While Waiting...
If you placed a back-order and you did not intend to do so, you may do the following:
- Review other comparable products on our site for purchase in place of your current order. If you would like to modify your order, please place a new order and contact us immediately after so we can refund your original order.
- If your order has not already shipped, we can cancel and refund your order in full after a brief period of confirming the order cancellation with the manufacturer. You can e-mail us at support@ampedaxis.com with your cancellation request. You may also request inventory availability so a new order can be placed when the item becomes available.
- Please wait a minimum of four (4) business days for your credit card company to post the credit.
Please note, that unless we are advised by you in a written email reply indicating either of the above two options prior to shipment, we will assume that you want to keep your present order in place until the product is available to ship (requiring no post-order response from you). We will continue to diligently work on your behalf with the manufacturer to fulfill your order as soon as possible and advise on freight and tracking information when it is made available to us.
Lastly, all ETA's are subject to change. Amped Axis does not and cannot control any timeline regarding orders due to us solely being an Certified Partner of each of the brands we sell, not the brand/manufacturer of the products ourselves.

This confirms your order has been received in our system and your credit card is authorized for purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we begin processing to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will reach out to you via e-mail to confirm if you'd like to keep your order or cancel for a full refund. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
ORDER SHIPMENT
Please reference your product page specific lead times. After shipment, items will arrive in 5-10 business days after order has been shipped out.
Certain items due to high demand and low supply can only be placed on back order at specific times. Please contact customer service to hear about any items availability.

Large items that ship via freight (not UPS or Fedex) require a signature
upon delivery. You will receive a call from the shipping company to arrange

PRODUCT QUALITY GUARANTEE
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should contact us IMMEDIATELY. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please contact us immediately within 48 Hours of delivery and send photos to support@ampedaxis.com We will process an insurance claim on your behalf and happily work with you to resolve the issue or replace your order.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Generally, most of the items we carry can be returned within 30 days of
receipt in new condition and unopened.
Returned products must be sent back with their original packaging and have all of the parts and components that they came with. Please contact the manufacturer for any warranty issues.
If there is a damage in the product, the customer is not responsible for the shipping costs and restocking fees that apply for the return.
Customer remorse: If there is no damage to the product, the customer will be responsible of paying for shipping and restocking fees. The customer will be given a refund of the remaining balance.
Please document (photograph) any damages upon receiving the item and report these damages to the delivery carrier if product was sent by LTL or freight (not by UPS, Fedex, USPS, etc).
Some items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for return shipping and original shipping cost, even if the item was "free shipping". Any damages to products may void the return.
Returns must be accompanied with an RMA number. Please contact us in order to have one generated.
